What IS CO-EQ?

Co-EQ started as a pop-up creative online workshop on Twitter/ X, with a small group of people with severe ME and Long Covid.

Together we used our limited energy to explore how AI could do more of our advocacy work and heavy-lifting. Helping us find and mobilise new allies to join our decades-long fight against medical and social abandonment,

Today, we are creating a safer, fairer, faster way for you (the individual and collective) to feel seen, heard and served across a broad range of health, business and society organisations and change projects.

  • Simply choose which innovation workshops (LABS) you would like to join and answer questions that are posted to share your thoughts and ideas on subjects you care about. You can also view the AI summaries and dashboards that we are developing to help you visualise your amazing ideas and impact. Once we get going, you’ll quickly see how your small Advoacy actions can turn into substantial community funds that we hope can support and accelerate biomedical research projects.

  • It’s completely up to you, you are in control and can dip in/ out as much as you like. No questions asked. We’ve designed this with some of the most severe energy impaired and incapacitated employees and citizens, to ensure we reduce the risk of PEM or burnout. At some point we might experiment with buddy/ carer models to help and facilitate the extremely severe and marganlised members of our community to also feel involved.

  • We have made Co-EQ anonymous, so we hope this will make you feel more psychologically safe with us and free from unwanted feedback or trolling. We are also working hard to remove the mental health bias that is currently in existing AI models. The last thing we want to do is trigger anyone or cause any harm.
